The offer is open to all schools in London.

Working with Careers Leads, Senior Leadership Teams and Subject Leads – following our tried and tested approach – we will bring together pupils and employers to raise the profile of the hospitality industry as a worthwhile and attractive career option.

By creating lasting relationships between schools and employers the project also aims to strengthen the Schools Careers Offer.

Individualised Programs for Career Development

Offering a range of interventions and opportunities, tailored to the individual needs of the school and the pupils, our programme of activities will:

  • Offer insight to teachers and pupils on the full range of opportunities available within the broader industry.
  • Provide practical solutions to help develop a strong schools ‘Career Offer’ in line with Gatsby Benchmarks (2, 4, 5 and 6), providing access to employer engagement activities, practical world of work interventions for pupils and relevant LMI for Careers leads and teachers
  • Encourage and facilitate employer engagement through practical interventions i.e. “Day in the Life of…” held at employer premises or at school premises
  • Utilise and build on existing school links and partnerships through inter school challenges/activities to support the sharing of good practice and pooling of resources

The trips that have been organized have been really inspiring and the students very much enjoyed the experiences
Pupils were able to experience a range of different career paths in the hospitality industry
The broadening of student horizons, making the world of work real for them
Some of the young people on the project had never been into a hotel or restaurant in London and so visits have really broadened their horizons with new career options
I think the students really thought about what a career in a hotel could involve, a good opportunity to see different + exciting career paths
I think the work Rinova have done with employers and schools via this project is fantastic. It's helped bridge a huge gap on a local level
